I have spent most of my life making music, from joining my first band as a teenager to decades of playing live. The Alt Sessions grew from a desire to create something more personal—a place where the people, places, journeys and experiences that have shaped my life could find their voice through song.

Some of these songs tell true-life stories. Others begin with a memory, a moment or a feeling that stayed with me long after the event itself. They may move between soul, blues, folk and jazz, and they may be carried by different voices, but the thread running through them is always the same: the story comes first.

The Alt Sessions is not a band in the traditional sense. It is an ongoing musical journal, with every release becoming another chapter.
